Catalyst Ministries is a faith-based Learning Center in the heart of Elizabethtown where young people can experience hands-on learning with the goal of equipping them with practical life-building skills. Catalyst is a place where teachers and mentors, who care about young people, can pass on their knowledge and skills, filling young lives with purpose, vision, and hope for the future.

Woodshop
On Wednesday evenings (6 weeks)
starting October 7, 2026
6:30-8:00pmYou can build it! If you are between the ages of 10 and 14 years old, Join in on an experience that will put your hands on the tools that make stuff with wood. You will build projects you can be proud of and take home. During the six weeks of this shop, experienced mentors will guide you into how to safely and effectively measure, cut, shape and fasten wood together.
Mechanical Shop
On Tuesday evenings (6 Weeks)starting October 6, 2026
6:30-8:00pm Roll up your sleeves and get ready to turn some wrenches and sockets and get a little bit of oil and grease on your hands! Catalyst will be hosting a small engine shop for ages 10-14. We will learn how engines work by dismantling them part-by-part, seeing what makes them go, and then putting them back together. You will also learn about mechanical tools and how to use them.
