  • About Mommy & Me, Play & Learn
“Mommy & Me, Play & Learn” was created by seasoned moms who love children and have a heart for encouraging younger moms in their significant role of raising the next generation. We have seen the rise of challenges that distract us from what is most important in life: nurturing relationships. The mother/child bond is one of the most crucial and influential relationships that is formative in every child’s life. We desire to come alongside moms in a creative and loving environment where both moms and children are learning together from mentor moms.

What to Expect

When you and your child(ren) join our “Mommy & Me, Play & Learn,” you are becoming part of a community of moms who desire to learn and grow in this vital role as a mother. All of the activities and crafts are “hands-on” for you and your child. We have a Teen Team that is here to help if you have more than one child. We ask that this time be honored as a “distraction-free zone” so that each of us can be focused and engaged in all that is going on. This is a faith-based program where we will be learning about God’s world and His ways through songs, lessons, crafts, and conversation. There will be a designated time when the children will be supervised by the Teen Team and their Director while the moms go to their area for “Coffee & Life Talk.”

Mommy & Me, Play & Learn Guidelines

Our Code of Conduct has been designed to create a place where everyone in our community is shown respect and consideration. We desire that good manners, wholesome speech, calm voices, and focused attention be practiced throughout the entire time of the “Play & Learn” session.

Mommy & Me, Play & Learn Sickness Policy

In order to have a community that is considerate of each other’s families, please do not attend “Mommy & Me” if your child has any of the following:Fever: Generally 100.4°F (38°C) or higher. Your child should be fever-free for 48 hours (without medication) in order to attend (which means since Sunday evening of that week).Vomiting/Diarrhea: must be symptom-free for 24 hours.Contagious Illnesses: Such as strep throat, flu, conjunctivitis (pink eye), RSV, chickenpox, hand-foot-mouth disease, etc., until cleared by a doctor or after the contagious period has passed.Uncontrolled coughing, difficulty breathing, or wheezing.Unexplained rash (unless cleared by a doctor).Lethargy or inability to participate in normal activities.
